The end of the year's finally here. After 2 excruciatingly long semesters (and 3 additional years), I'm at the end of my high school career. When I look back and reflect on everything that's happened to me, that I've done, and what I've learned, I find myself wanting to leave it the way it is. Every bad moment I experienced was just as necessary as every good one. Without them, I wouldn't be the person that I am; flaws and all.

My time in the PLTW program has been a very unique one if I had to say. In my Sophomore year I didn't get the full experience that was Aerospace Engineering, on top of having my Freshman year cut short. Not only this, but during my Junior year I dislocated my kneecap, stopping me from enjoying Digital Electronics even more than I already did. In spite all of this, I still think that the Project Lead The Way program has been my favorite school course of all time.

What I am most proud of from my PLTW career is the fact that I adapted to whatever my given situation was. I tried to make the best of what I had because of my genuine love and excitement for the course. Things could have gone better, no doubt, but it does make me happy seeing what I've accomplished.

If I had to give any kind of advice to incoming students, it's to not work on something that you aren't passionate about. I've witnessed it firsthand that a lack of passion can either hamper, or cripple a project entirely. While it does take just one person to bring great ideas to the table, it also takes one person to drag an entire team effort down. Work and communicate with yourself, or with group mates to create something you're all equally enthusiastic about.
